Community Development
- Invest in neighborhood development that prioritizes affordable housing, safe green spaces, and inclusive public spaces for families, seniors, and youth.
- Strengthen partnerships with local nonprofits, faith leaders, and small businesses to expand access to resources, job opportunities, and wellness programs.
- Ensure every voice in District 8 is heard by hosting regular town halls and community roundtables.
Community Care
- Invest in community-based public safety initiatives that build trust between residents and law enforcement.
- Expand youth engagement programs, job training, and mentorship to address the root causes of crime.
- Increase support for mental health and addiction recovery services as pathways to prevention and safer neighborhoods.
